Navigate Search is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead consulting projects in Milwaukee or Madison, guiding field investigations, ESAs, remediation, and reporting while coordinating clients and agencies.

The role blends office project management with hands-on field work, and offers opportunities for business development. A Wisconsin PE or PG and 10–15+ years in environmental consulting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related discipline.
• 10-15+ years of environmental consulting or related industry experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in Wisconsin, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with Wisconsin and/or Illinois environmental regulations strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of environmental site assessments, field investigations, remediation, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
• Lead and participate in environmental field investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling and construction monitoring.
• Oversee remediation system monitoring and reporting.
• Manage medium to large environmental projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, including obtaining bids and scheduling field activities.
• Work with operations to ensure staffing and resources for projects.
• Perform quality control reviews of environmental reports and project deliverables.
