Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois.
• 15+ years of environmental consulting experience with increasing project management responsibility.
• Experience with remediation projects and redevelopment initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Illinois EPA regulations, remediation programs, soil management, and due diligence practices.
• Experience preparing technical reports, remedial action plans, soil management plans, and regulatory closure documentation.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all stages of environmental assessments, remediation, and regulatory closure.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, proposals, and technical reports.
• Serve as primary client contact and support business development.
• Lead technical execution of Site Remediation Program (SRP), LUST, and other regulatory cleanup projects.
• Provide geological, hydrogeological, and environmental expertise on multidisciplinary projects.
• Coordinate project execution with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and resource allocation.
• Mentor junior geologists, scientists, engineers, and environmental professionals.
• Provide technical guidance, quality review, and staff development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture focused on technical excellence and client service.
