Job summary

EDGE Engineering and Science, LLC, based in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced project manager to join the Environmental Compliance Liability Team. Support is for Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Manufacturing clients, with a focus on leadership, client service, and compliant environmental solutions.

Responsibilities include managing due diligence (Phase I ESA, Phase II, liability estimates), regulatory reporting, SPCC/SWP3 planning, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more in environmental consulting.
• Five+ years in consulting project management.
• Experience in due diligence and environmental liability estimates.
• Proficient in SPCC and SWP3 planning and related compliance tasks.
• Experience preparing regulatory reports (EPCRA, CERCLA, CWA, RCRA).
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative team player.
• Proven ability to win new business and manage client relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (in-state and out-of-state).

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead business development to expand the client base and nurture relationships.
• Manage due diligence projects including Phase I ESA, Phase II investigations, and liability estimates.
• Provide technical and administrative support across projects (regulatory research, data collection, document review).
• Lead, train, and mentor junior employees for professional growth.
• Adhere to quality, budget, schedule, and scope requirements.
• Prepare proposals for scopes of work under senior PM guidance.
