Job summary

The role involves complex analyses of land use changes, zoning changes, and development plans, with responsibility for reports and presentations to decision-makers and for implementing Comprehensive Plan goals and environmental codes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in related field and 1 year professional planning experience, or equivalent.
• Successful completion of background checks pre-hire and ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed land use, zoning, and development plan analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for Board of County Commissioners, Planning Commission, and Development Review Committee.
• Assist with development of Comprehensive Plan goals, objectives, policies, and regulations.
