ICF is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner and Project Manager to join our Southern California planning transportation team. Our energy, ports, transportation, and infrastructure business is rapidly growing, and we seek a senior leader to support this expansion. We lead environmental compliance efforts for complex and often controversial projects nationwide for private and public clients. In this role, you will be a senior regional leader, responsible for:
Managing federal, state, and local permitting and compliance for transmission and other projects in accordance with CEQA, NEPA, and relevant regulations.
Serving as the primary contact with local, state, and federal government clients.
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams conducting research, preparing technical documents, and interfacing with external clients.
What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in environmental science or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Experience
Experience preparing CEQA and NEPA documents for government agencies and private sector clients.
Experience working with Caltrans.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in team settings.
Advanced knowledge of environmental planning and related fields.
Strong project coordination skills, including organization and time management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience obtaining environmental permits and reviewing technical studies.
Experience managing tasks within a consulting firm; project coordinator or deputy project manager experience is a plus.
Business development experience and willingness to engage in client outreach.

Pay Range
The salary range for this full-time position in Los Angeles, CA, is $107,469 - $182,697, considering experience, skills, certifications, location, and other factors.
