Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced environmental planner to grow its environmental team. The ideal candidate will prepare NEPA documentation and engage in business development related to environmental projects. Responsibilities include technical proposal preparation and participating in project development. Candidates should possess a relevant bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of environmental planning experience. This position allows for flexibility in location, working from any Apex office or remotely within 100 miles of ND offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental planning and permitting experience.
• Experience with transportation projects and public agencies in ND and MN preferred.
• Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NEPA documentation for transportation and water projects.
• Participate in business development and marketing activities.
• Prepare technical proposals for projects with other managers.
