Job summary

RWE Americas is seeking a Sr Manager, Environmental to lead permitting and compliance for renewable energy projects across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and beyond. You will guide regulatory strategies, manage stakeholders, and oversee field/consultant activities to ensure compliance throughout development, construction, and operation phases.

The role requires deep experience in NEPA, state environmental reviews, protected species, water management, and waste programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in environmental programs with permitting and compliance.
• Experience with consulting, construction, or operations and field work.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting strategies across multiple states.
• Coordinate NEPA reviews and agency communications.
• Oversee consultants and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Develop environmental risk mitigation plans aligned with project timelines.
• Mentor team and drive process improvements and EMS elements.
