Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Permitting Manager to lead permitting for power sector projects in the Midwest, including utility generation and renewable developments. This role requires oversight of regulatory requirements under the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and NEPA, and will coordinate with a diverse team of scientists, planners, and engineers.

The position blends project delivery with business development, offering a hybrid work arrangement and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, geology, or related field.
• 10 years of total experience in the environmental consulting industry.
• 5 years of experience managing environmental permitting projects.
• 2 years leading project pursuits with direct client contact.
• Experience coordinating with Midwest permitting agencies.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary site assessment, permitting, and documentation for power projects.
• Support growth of client relationships through business development activities.
• Coordinate with teams and participate in market-facing events to raise Arcadis presence.
