Worley is seeking a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist to lead permitting, regulatory strategy, and compliance for complex energy and infrastructure projects across the U.S. You will guide regulatory planning, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and engage with federal, state, and local agencies.

You will mentor professionals, contribute to proposals, and help expand services into hydrogen, carbon capture and other energy transition areas while maintaining high safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or related discipline.
• Typically, 10–20 years of progressive environmental consulting/energy experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEPA, CEQA, FERC and air/water permitting requirements.
• Experience delivering permitting and compliance programs for energy/infrastructure projects.
• Strong air quality permitting expertise in project development.
• Experience with stormwater management and SPCC planning.
• Familiarity with USEPA, FERC, USACE and state/local authorities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver environmental permitting, regulatory and compliance solutions for complex energy, chemicals and resources projects.
• Develop practical permitting strategies considering regulations, schedules and client objectives.
• Lead air quality permitting deliverables including stormwater and SPCC planning.
• Guide EIAs under NEPA, CEQA and FERC requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering and environmental teams to integrate requirements.
• Engage with agencies and stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Maintain high standards for quality, scope, schedule and budget.
• Support business development through proposals and client relations.
• Contribute to growth in energy transition markets like hydrogen and carbon management.
• Mentor professionals to ensure consistent technical quality.
