Fluor Corporation is seeking a Senior Permitting Specialist to oversee regulatory permitting and environmental compliance for California High-Speed Rail projects in the Central Valley. You will manage permit applications, NEPA/CEQA analyses, and coordination with multiple agencies and stakeholders.

The role requires a strong background in environmental regulations (CEQA/NEPA, CWA, ESA) and the ability to lead complex permitting efforts across 171 miles of roadway and rail construction packages.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biology or environmental science or equivalent.
• 10 years of related work experience (or 14 years if no degree).
• Experience with regulatory permitting and environmental compliance in California.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage large, complex programs and projects.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee preparation of state and federal permit applications and NEPA/CEQA analysis.
• Assist with strategic development and acquisition of regulatory permits and amendments under CWA/ESA and related laws.
• Review compliance documentation and reports.
• Support mitigation procurement and manage mitigation contracts.
• Assist with construction-phase compliance and respond to inquiries.
