Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible engineering experience on major transportation or infrastructure projects, with emphasis on design review and construction support.
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering standards, construction methods, and project delivery for large-scale transportation or rail projects.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide technical oversight of submittals, drawings, and specifications for CAHSR standards and codes.
• Support resolution of design and construction issues, including RFIs and non-conformance reports.
• Coordinate across civil, structural, geotechnical, systems, and environmental disciplines.
• Provide input during constructability reviews and value engineering assessments.
• Assist in managing contractor teams to bid, propose and deploy for construction and monitor progress.
