Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Environmental Permitting & Compliance to join our Florida team. This role manages air permitting, wastewater, stormwater, storage tank registrations, and multi-media compliance programs for complex industrial projects; collaborates across offices to deliver solutions.

Candidates bring a BS in Environmental/Chemical Engineering or Science, 10+ years of permitting experience, strong leadership and client management abilities; a Master’s is preferred and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or Science; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years experience with environmental permitting and regulations.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage large, complex environmental engineering projects with senior-level technical analysis.
• Develop environmental permitting and regulatory strategies for various projects.
• Prepare and submit permits and compliance programs for air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, and storage tanks.
• Respond to Notices of Violations and negotiate permit requirements with regulators.
• Conduct multi-media environmental compliance audits and program reviews.
• Lead and develop a team of environmental compliance staff.
