Job summary

Waste Management is hiring to manage landfill post-closure and remedial projects at closed facilities in PA, NJ, DE, and MD. The role focuses on coordinating work and cash flow to meet regulatory and financial goals, with emphasis on environmental compliance and safety.

Ideal candidates have strong planning, leadership, and data-analytics skills, plus experience with MS Office, Power BI, and App-based tech for digital inspections and reporting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) and 7 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s in engineering, geology, environmental science, STEM or equivalent preferred.
• Experience includes supervising contractors and regulatory coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site contractors and consultants to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Monitor operations, permitting, and environmental compliance.
• Manage budgets and control costs while maintaining safety.
• Maintain site systems knowledge: landfill gas, leachate, water treatment, cover systems.
