Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Managing Consultant or Senior Managing Consultant to lead environmental due diligence for transactional engagements in the Americas. The role focuses on Phase I ESAs, compliance reviews, and post‑transaction support, with opportunities to manage budgets and client relationships.

You will join Ramboll's Environment and Health team, collaborating with experienced professionals across disciplines to deliver sustainable solutions for clients while developing your leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in environmental discipline (e.g., geology, environmental/chemical engineering, environmental science).
• At least 7 years performing Phase I ESAs and environmental reviews for industrial facilities.
• Experience in proposals, cost estimates, budgeting, and client communications.
• Experience analyzing investigations and remediation of contaminated sites.
• Knowledge of multi-media compliance support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate environmental due diligence projects for industrial/private equity clients.
• Oversee environmental compliance reviews of industrial facilities.
• Support permitting, reporting, and record-keeping for clients.
• Develop proposals and cost estimates; manage project budgets and deliverables.
• Review site investigation reports and provide actionable conclusions.
• Manage a small group of junior professionals.
• Lead client discussions and maintain strong client contact.
