Job summary

Kleinfelder’s Environmental team in Southern California is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to provide technical support for environmental assessment and investigation projects. Based in downtown Los Angeles, you will lead project execution on large transportation and municipal contracts, with a strong emphasis on site characterization and remediation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience with California regulations.
• Minimum 10 years of project management on multi-disciplinary environmental projects.
• BS/MS in environmental engineering or geology required; PE/PG licensure preferred.
• Licensure or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental site assessments, soil, soil gas, and groundwater studies.
• Lead remediation system design, implementation, and QA/QC on deliverables.
• Coordinate with DTSC and RWQCB regulatory agencies.
• Provide data analysis and technical writing for reports.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client communications.
• Mentor staff and lead multi-disciplinary project teams.
