Job summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to join our Environmental Remediation practice in the Lisle, IL office. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for complex site investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects across Illinois and the Midwest.
The role requires extensive knowledge of Illinois EPA SRP and TACO regulations, mentoring junior staff, leading technical discussions with clients, and coordinating multi-disciplined teams to deliver
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 10 years of environmental consulting, remediation, and regulatory compliance experience.
- Leadership experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for environmental investigation and remediation projects.
- Prepare and review reports for Illinois EPA SRP and TACO programs.
- Mentor environmental scientists and engineers on project teams.
- Support proposal development and client presentations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists and subcontractors.
- Interface with Illinois EPA project managers and reviewers.
