Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Engineer III to join our Portland, Oregon office. The successful candidate will lead environmental investigation and remediation tasks, mentor junior staff, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.

Responsibilities include planning remediation systems, developing scopes and budgets, analyzing field and lab data, and interfacing with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Engineering or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead task execution for environmental investigation and remediation programs.
• Plan and operate remediation systems; develop O&M plans.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets; track progress.
• Coordinate subcontractors; manage fieldwork logistics and safety.
• Analyze field/lab data; prepare site models and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and interface with clients/regulators.

Education

BA/BS in Environmental Engineering or related field

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
