Job summary

Pace is seeking an Organics Operations Manager to oversee environmental organic chemistry testing, laboratory production workflows, and regulatory compliance. You will lead the Organics Laboratory team, ensure timely and defensible data, and drive operational excellence across the department.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and implementing process improvements while partnering with QA and leadership to meet client and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or closely related field; five years experience.
• Three years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience managing environmental organics testing operations and high-volume lab production workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and implementation of laboratory services, programs, and procedures.
• Oversee schedules, results, and related programs to achieve operational results.
• Ensure compliance with EPA methodologies and accreditation requirements.
• Lead staff hiring, training, and performance management.
• Monitor metrics, budgets, and resource utilization.
