Zusammenfassung

Pace is seeking an Organics Operations Manager to lead environmental organic chemistry testing operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and defensible analytical data. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, instrumentation oversight (GC/FID, GC/MS, LC/MS/MS), and regulatory compliance, while driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will manage budgets and partner with QA and leadership to align strategies, metrics, and performance expectations across the organics lab.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or a closely related field.
• Five (5) years of experience, typically with lead/supervisor experience; three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience managing environmental organics testing operations and high-volume laboratory production workflows is preferred.

• Oversees staff including hiring, training, development and engagement; performance management.
• Manages schedules, services, results and related programs to achieve operational goals.
• Provides input on strategies and programs to manage laboratory operations and policies.
• Oversees environmental organic testing activities using GC/FID, GC/ECD, GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, LC/MS/MS.
• Monitors production metrics, turnaround times and resource utilization; ensures customer satisfaction.
• Collaborates with Quality Assurance to maintain EPA methodologies compliance.
• Manages departmental budgets and approves expenditures.
• Participates in special projects and leadership team discussions.
