Job summary
Ramboll in Princeton, NJ (Hybrid) seeks an experienced Environmental Scientist/Project Lead to direct geologic investigations and remediation projects across NJ/PA/Metropolitan areas. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, review deliverables, and mentor junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.
The role emphasizes technical leadership, effective communication with regulators, and collaboration with PEs, PGs, and LS RP professionals to deliver sustainable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geological Science, Environmental Science, or related field with 7+ years of experience
- PG license and/or LSRP eligibility or progress toward same
- 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up-to-date 8-hour refresher; additional OSHA trainings a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee geologic and site investigations including Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies
- Manage field programs, data evaluation, and regulatory reporting
- Mentor junior/mid-level staff and ensure safe, compliant project delivery
- Coordinate scopes of work, budgets, and client communications
