Job summary

Liberty Environmental, Inc. seeks an Environmental Engineering Practice Manager for our Lebanon, NJ office. This role leads the Engineering Department, directs projects, and shapes planning for growth in the Mid-Atlantic region.

You'll mentor engineers, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and sustain client relationships. This full‑time, in‑person leadership position requires a NJ PE license, extensive environmental experience, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires PE license in NJ and 15+ years in environmental engineering.
• Manages multiple projects with strong budgeting and scheduling skills.
• Experience with design packages, cost estimates, and remedial design.
• Proficient in regulatory frameworks (RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, OSHA, TSCA).
• Proven client and project management experience with excellent communication.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Engineering Department activities across projects.
• Develop cost estimates for feasibility studies and remedial designs.
• Direct training and mentoring of engineers and staff.
• Collaborate with marketing on local growth and client engagement strategies.
• Review documentation for quality and timely delivery of projects.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, and client communications.
