Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to serve as a Project Manager for environmental projects including water quality, stormwater, and groundwater/soil remediation. The candidate will lead teams, coordinate field work, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining client relationships.

The position is based in Tampa, FL with competitive compensation and travel up to 5% to client sites. A PE license and 8+ years of environmental engineering experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or clearly in process.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects related to engineering, water quality, stormwater management, and groundwater/soil assessment and remediation.
• Manage project teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare environmental compliance documents, permits, plans and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety rules (OSHA).
• Support business development activities including proposals and client expansion.
