Shannon & Wilson is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Engineer for our St. Louis office to manage a variety of environmental projects. The team recently renovated the space to support growth and offers opportunities to advance technical expertise.

The role requires a geology/engineering background with 7–14 years of experience, strong writing and communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Civil or Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other Natural Science; Master's Degree preferred.
• 7 to 14 years of experience.
• Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to support other offices.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive environmental consulting and/or engineering work including planning, data assessment, reporting, travel and field work, and sample collection.
• Perform Phase I, II, & III Environmental Site Assessments.
• Review, evaluate, and interpret environmental data and prepare summary reports.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and staff professionally.
• Follow QA, Health & Safety, and Loss Prevention policies.
