Shannon & Wilson's St. Louis office is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Engineer to work on diverse environmental projects. This role offers opportunities for recent graduates to apply classroom experience to real-world cases, with a newly renovated office and labs to support growth.

The position involves field work, data assessment and reporting, with travel to support other Shannon & Wilson offices. Strong writing, communication and independence are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a natural science field; Master's preferred.
• 0–6 years of experience.
• Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to support other Shannon & Wilson offices.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word and Excel; MS Access desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive environmental consulting and engineering tasks including planning, data assessment, reporting, travel and field work.
• Conduct Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments.
• Assist with review, evaluation and interpretation of environmental data and reports.
• Interact professionally with clients, vendors and staff at all levels.
• Follow QA policy and health & safety procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
