Job summary

Terraphase Engineering is seeking a Senior Project or Associate Engineer in the Oakland or Pleasanton, CA offices. The role includes managing environmental projects, delivering design deliverables, and overseeing field work with senior staff guidance.

Experience with RI/FS, remediation systems, and project budgeting is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/ArcGIS is preferred, along with a California PE and OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of environmental/engineering consulting experience.
• California Civil Engineering PE is required.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with refresher training.
• Experience with RI/FS and remediation design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for environmental projects including site investigation and remediation.
• Develop project scopes and budgets with senior staff.
• Lead or support field implementation and health and safety plans.
• Manage subconsultant contracts and project finances.
• Prepare RI/FS, RAW/RAPs, and design deliverables.
• Develop basis of design parameters and cost estimates.
