Terraphase Engineering Inc. in Oakland is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our team.

The role includes environmental site assessments, field investigations, and collaboration with CAD/GIS staff to support complex projects. You will work on environmental compliance projects (stormwater, air quality, wastewater, hazardous waste), develop remediation plans, prepare permit applications, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

BS required; MS preferred in Environmental Engineering or related field.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE), license in CA preferred.
4+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering.

Responsibilities

Conduct environmental site assessments, investigations, and field work.
Develop and implement remediation plans and strategies.
Prepare permit applications and compliance reports.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams; manage timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
Ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
Contribute to RI/FS, Phase II ESA, work plans, groundwater monitoring reports, SWPPPs, NPDES documents; reviewed by Technical Lead.
