Job summary

GeoEngineers seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist to lead environmental projects in Boston, MA. You will oversee remedial construction, data collection across soils, groundwater, sediment, indoor air, and soil vapor, and interpret data to support design and regulatory submissions.

You will mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and contribute to business development. Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience are favored, with a PE/LSP being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/environmental engineering, geology, or environmental science; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of environmental consulting or related professional experience.
• Licensed engineer and/or Licensed Site Professional (LSP) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MCP and environmental regulations.
• Experience managing field investigations and cleanup construction projects.
• Ability to develop proposals, work plans, data reports and RI/FS design documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and business development activities with Principals/Associates.
• Serve as technical leader for remediation projects across all phases.
• Plan and manage field explorations and environmental data collection.
• Evaluate data, perform analyses, and develop solutions to complex problems.
• Develop conceptual site models and remedial technology evaluations.
• Prepare design documents, calculations, and permit applications.
• Oversee remedial construction and site restoration activities.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
