Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer III to support environmental compliance tasks and field investigations. The role involves joining projects across multiple locations and providing data synthesis, permitting support, and supervision of junior staff.

The position focuses on stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and waste regulations with field support and mentorship toward Project Manager or Technical Advisor progression. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or other engineering discipline.
• Seven to fifteen years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and able to operate a vehicle under the company policy.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups in accordance with regulatory guidelines and project management staff directions.
• Work with environmental technicians in data collection, site inspection/investigation, and evaluation of data collected for project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance, support, coordination, and oversight to project staff preparing written project documentation.
• Review and document processes to obtain, develop and/or update environmental permits, plans, reports, licenses, and other requirements.
• Review and provide documentation of environmental standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure proposals meet requirements.
• Prepare charts or graphs from data samples and summarize environmental relevance.
• Determine data collection methods for site surveys and investigations.
• Support project planning and RFP responses.
• Participate and lead in creating an effective team dynamic.
• Provide technical QC of documentation and author technical documents.
• Act as technical liaison for Clients and lead a proactive safety culture.
