Job summary

PEA Group (ASTI Division) seeks an Environmental Engineer to perform environmental assessments, field sampling, data interpretation, and report preparation for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will contribute to due diligence, redevelopment, and remediation efforts while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities include field sampling of soils, groundwater, air, and dust; drafting permitting documents; and supporting remediation system

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• EIT preferred; PE or progress toward PE is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent fieldwork including soil, groundwater, stormwater, soil gas, air, and dust sampling.
• Coordinate with project manager and subcontractors; assist with field sampling decisions.
• Draft environmental compliance reports, permitting documents, and regulatory submittals.
• Assist with design of vapor mitigation and remediation systems as experience grows.
• Review Health and Safety Plans and ensure proper sample handling.
