Zusammenfassung

APTIM seeks an entry-level Environmental Engineer to support federal environmental investigation and remediation projects. You will work under project managers, collaborating with engineers, scientists, geologists, risk assessors, and technologists to advance site investigations.

Responsibilities include field data collection, work plan development, and cost estimate support while learning remediation system design and data analysis.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related engineering discipline (completed or in progress).
• Experience or projects in environmental investigation or water/wastewater treatment (0–2 years).
• Strong interest in environmental remediation, field investigations, treatment systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to learn field sampling methods, equipment operation, and data collection procedures.
• Ability to walk uneven terrain, lift field equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to wear PPE and travel to sites, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license and US work authorization.

Aufgaben

• Assist with collection, documentation, and organization of field data.
• Contribute to preparation of project work plans and deliverables.
• Assist with development of technical scopes of work and cost estimates for proposals.
• Identify environmental risks and recommend remediation strategies to comply with regulations.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyze environmental data, and assist with system design.
• Assist in analysis and interpretation of environmental data using statistical tools and visualization.
