Job summary

NAVFAC Atlantic is seeking a Senior Media Program Manager (COR) in the Clean Air & Water division. The role can be filled in Environmental Engineer (0819) or Physical Scientist (1301) lines, requiring knowledge of environmental laws and the ability to provide expert technical guidance to leadership and project teams.

The position emphasizes environmental compliance, contract oversight, and regulatory interpretation across DoD and DoN policies, with opportunities to influence overseas standards

Qualifications

• SPF: If Environmental Engineer (0819), must have PE license from a U.S. jurisdiction; provide copy with application.
• Resume must show at least one year of specialized experience at GS-12 or equivalent: as Navy COR on environmental compliance projects, manage pre/post award functions, review plans/designs, and advise on laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Navy Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on environmental compliance projects and oversee project development and execution.
• Act as technical authority for shore facility water compliance programs and provide advanced environmental compliance expertise.
• Advise leadership on federal, state, local, and overseas environmental regulations and assist with overseas standards and audits.
