Job summary

NAVFAC Atlantic invites applications for a Senior Media Program Manager (COR) in the Clean Air & Water Division. The position can be filled using either Environmental Engineer (0819) or Physical Scientist (1301) series, with SPF requirements for the Environmental Engineer path.

The role demands coordinating COR duties on environmental projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing technical guidance to leadership on complex environmental matters.

Qualifications

• SPF requires PE registration for Environmental Engineer (0819)
• At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-12
• Experience as Navy COR on environmental compliance projects and project management functions

Responsibilities

• Serve as Navy Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on environmental compliance projects and manage PRE/POST award functions (SOW, GE, contract award, field oversight, invoicing)
• Act as technical authority for shore facility water compliance programs and provide advanced environmental compliance guidance to leadership
• Apply expert knowledge of environmental laws to advise on federal, state, local, and overseas regulations and participate in developing overseas standards
