Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5 years’ environmental management experience, including PM.
• Master’s in Engineering with 3 years’ environmental PM experience.
• Certifications such as HAZWOPER, Method 9, DOT, EMS Auditor, Asbestos, CHMM may be required.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance, permitting, incident investigation and reporting.
• Ability to manage large or complex environmental projects and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical expertise, guidance and leadership for environmental projects and programs.
• Determine and assess environmental risk and develop regulatory documentation of results.
• Perform site inspections and recommend actions in compliance with regulations.
• Review and develop recommendations on expansion, modification or closure affecting discharges, emissions or hazardous materials.
• Serve as Project Manager or technical expert on large or complex environmental projects (compliance, remediation, reclamation).
• Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for services and equipment.
• Counsel site management on applicable programs and regulations.
• Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting for environmental systems.
