Job summary

Earthjustice is seeking a collaborative and experienced Senior Attorney to join our enforcement group. This role will shape the enforcement program, lead federal enforcement cases, and collaborate with multiple offices to strengthen Earthjustice’s mission.

A strong background in environmental litigation and advocacy is essential, with travel as needed. The Senior Attorney reports to the Director of Enforcement and will help develop strategic plans, mentor staff, and build enforcement capacity

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required.
• Admitted or willing to seek admission to practice law where located.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and litigation of federal enforcement cases.
• Help shape enforcement strategy and build infrastructure to support enforcement work across Earthjustice.
• Engage with clients, partners, and media to advance enforcement goals.
