Cosma International in Piedmont, SC, is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead the facility's hazardous waste program and ensure compliance with RCRA and DOT regulations.

The position requires 5+ years of manufacturing EHS experience, a BS in Environmental Health and Safety, and CSP/CIH/CHMM certifications are preferred. You will coordinate ISO 14001/45001, perform audits, drive improvement, and support safety culture with leadership collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Certification in ISO 14001/45001 or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the facility hazardous waste program in full compliance with RCRA and LQG requirements.
• Classify hazardous materials and oversee compliant shipment and transportation practices.
• Coordinate ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems and support audits.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement of EHS management systems.
• Identify and mitigate workplace health and safety risks through inspections and corrective actions.
• Develop and coordinate EHS policies, permits, training, and safety communications.
