Job summary

BLDI Environmental Engineering in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Project Manager – Environmental Due Diligence to own complex due diligence projects, provide technical QA/QC, and support the Director by balancing workload and strengthening outputs.

The role leads Phase I/II ESAs, reviews data evaluations and sampling plans, and mentors junior staff. A strong background in environmental consulting and EDD report writing is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience specifically writing EDD reports.
• Experience with Phase I & Phase II ESAs and ASTM standards.
• Working knowledge of Part 201 of the Michigan NREPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase I/II ESAs and related reports.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Perform environmental data evaluations, historical research, and sampling.
• QA/QC reviews of EDD reports.
• Serve as a technical resource for staff and PMs.
• Coach and train junior staff on technical tasks.
• Train new staff on conducting EDD reports.
• Collaborate with Director on workflow and staffing.
• Participate in client calls and technical discussions.
