Qualifications

• J.D. degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum of five years of legal experience with substantial responsibility for environmental law matters.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience advising clients on environmental regulatory compliance, investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice and strategic counsel on federal and state environmental laws and regulations.
• Manage complex environmental litigation, regulatory investigations, and enforcement actions before federal and state courts and agencies.
• Advise on environmental issues arising from real estate, commercial, and corporate transactions, including due diligence and risk allocation.
• Direct and manage outside counsel while developing legal strategies for litigation, regulatory matters, and transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate settlement agreements, consent orders, and environmental indemnities.
