Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Indianapolis is seeking a Consulting Senior Associate across Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related sciences. You will contribute to site investigations, remediation, and compliance projects while advancing your technical career.

You will work with project managers and technical specialists, perform field data collection, data analysis, and reporting, and travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, or environmental science.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience.
• Willingness to perform field assignments and travel.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field work: data collection across soils, groundwater, surface water, and air samples.
• Assist with groundwater and wastewater system performance monitoring.
• Perform Phase I/II environmental assessments to support property transfers.
• Prepare environmental compliance work plans, permits, and reports.
• Support regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local rules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, regulators, tenants, and clients.
