Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead construction phase delivery on multiple projects with values up to $250M, primarily in the western US. The role requires a strong background in civil/construction management and delivery on time and on budget.

The position supports a hybrid work model with office or site presence, and opportunities to engage across environmental, civil, and energy sectors, including procurement and reporting initiatives. CCM/PE credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and management experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience as Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer on multiple simultaneous construction projects.
• CCM certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus, although not required.
• Experience with web based document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction phase delivery on multiple projects up to $250M in value.
• Develop, deliver, and manage budgets and schedules for construction projects.
• Lead reporting strategies and translate insights into recommendations for the client team.
• Collaborate on procurement, bid preparation, and interview processes.
• Provide construction regulatory guidance and best practices.
