• Substitution of education for experience is not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Reviews new environmental regulations, laws and policies, in order to monitor impact on mission and operations.
• Implements plans, policies, directives and guidance required for the effective execution of the environmental program.
• Ensures implementation of internal and external environmental awareness and ethics among personnel.
• Reviews plans, projects and proposed actions for environmental impacts prior to execution.
• Conducts special studies and projects related to pollution prevention, contamination cleanup, and environmental quality improvements.
• Attend conferences and meetings with representatives of HQ, IMA, Federal, DA/DoD, other installations, as well as concerned parties on matters pertaining to environmental programs.
