AdvanSix in Hopewell, Virginia seeks an Environmental Site Leader to drive environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory engagement for a large chemical manufacturing site. You will provide strategic leadership across air, water, and waste programs and manage continuous improvement efforts.

The role leads the environmental team, collaborates with site leadership, and oversees budget, audits, and regulatory reporting to ensure robust compliance and sustainable operations at our Hopewell

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 15+ years in environmental compliance, permitting at industrial facility.
• 10+ years supporting industrial or chemical manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading environmental professionals, teams, consultants, or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead site environmental compliance and permitting programs.
• Oversee major air, water, waste programs and emergency planning.
• Lead regulatory agency engagement and site audits.
• Develop and manage environmental team and budget.
• Advise site leadership on environmental risks and strategy.
