AdvanSix in Hopewell, VA seeks an OEHS Specialist to support occupational and environmental health and safety programs, focusing on hazardous building materials, industrial hygiene, and the Chemical Hygiene Program. You will assist with field assessments, exposure monitoring, sampling, and regulatory documentation.

Reporting to the IH/OH Manager, you will help promote safe work execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and align with site standards and Responsible Care principles across a

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in EHS, environmental science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in OH, IH, EHS or related work.
• Knowledge of exposure assessment, hazardous materials, and environmental compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHA/ EPA requirements and Responsible Care.
• Valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Support OEHS programs for hazardous building materials, asbestos and lead hazards, and industrial hygiene.
• Conduct field assessments, exposure monitoring, sampling, and surveys.
• Assist with contractor coordination, documentation, and regulatory notifications.
• Apply OSHA/ EPA standards and site procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support ISO 9001-aligned quality systems and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safe work practices.
• Travel to AdvanSix sites as needed.
