Job summary

RSI is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist to support Legacy Management’s obligation to protect health and the environment, with a focus on long-term surveillance and maintenance. Location: Westminster, CO, with potential remote arrangements.

The role requires deep knowledge of federal environmental laws (CERCLA, NEPA, RCRA, CWA, CAA), data-driven reports, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Travel up to 10% and a strong compliance mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• :15 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance and regulatory programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site/project environmental compliance planning documentation.
• Review actions for compliance with environmental laws.
• Identify and interpret regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports.
• Support DOE LM regulatory changes and data requests.
• Conduct policy and compliance reviews and assessments.
• Coordinate internal reviews and submittals.
• Track requirements and maintain document systems.
• Update processes per regulation changes and agency protocols.
• Travel to project sites up to 10%.
• Complete training and timesheets timely.
• Support environmental program execution and regulatory compliance.
