Job summary

The AES Eagle Valley Generating Station is seeking a Senior Environmental Analyst to serve as a key environmental compliance resource. You will support and manage regulatory reporting, track permits, and provide guidance to operations to uphold site compliance at AES facilities.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will analyze environmental data, assist with audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site as part of AES's environmental and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of environmental compliance experience.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations for industrial operations.
• Experience with air quality, water, or multi-media compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permit conditions, and site obligations at AES Eagle Valley.
• Collect, verify, manage, and analyze environmental data for regulatory reports and documentation.
• Oversee inspections, tests, records, and deliverables to meet reporting deadlines.
• Maintain the AES Environmental Management System and track site environmental objectives.
• Provide environmental guidance, training, and coaching to site personnel.
• Support permitting efforts and coordinate with subject matter experts on rulemaking and permit issues.
• Support and participate in environmental audits and corrective action closure.
• Contribute to budget development and integrate environmental requirements into planning.
