Stantec seeks a Senior Acoustical Consultant to support our growing environmental noise, vibration, and acoustics team across the U.S. Gulf or Mountain regions. You will collaborate with scientists and engineers supporting clients in renewables, power, data centers, oil and gas, transportation, and federal markets.

The role blends fieldwork, modelling, permitting, and expert reporting. You will lead noise analyses from planning through post-construction, supervise staff, and contribute to

• Bachelor’s degree in acoustics, engineering, physical sciences or related field.
• Master’s degree in acoustics or related field is beneficial.
• Professional Engineer license or INCE Board Certification is beneficial.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in acoustics and noise assessments preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage noise/acoustics projects from proposal to completion within schedule and budget.
• Supervise junior staff and contribute to training in field work, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct field measurements, technical analyses, modelling, and reporting.
• Interpret acoustical modeling results and document findings in reports.
• Present at public meetings and serve as expert witness for acoustics projects.
• Develop task scopes and cost estimates for proposals.
• Maintain professional growth through seminars and affiliations.
