Job summary

Stantec's Environmental Services practice seeks a Senior Acoustical Consultant to support our growing noise, vibration, and acoustics work in the U.S. Gulf or Mountain regions. You will collaborate with scientists and engineers to support clients across energy, transportation, and development sectors.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office. You will lead projects, supervise staff, perform measurements and modeling, prepare reports, assist with proposals, and stay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; acoustics/engineering preferred.
• Master's degree beneficial.
• Engineer license or board certification advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years of acoustics and noise assessment experience preferred.
• Experience with regulatory permitting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead acoustics projects from proposal to completion, on schedule and within scope.
• Supervise junior staff and provide field work and reporting training.
• Conduct measurements, analyses, modeling, and reporting.
• Interpret modeling results and document mitigation measures.
• Present findings at public meetings or as expert witness.
• Support proposals with task scopes and cost estimates.
