Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Concept Artist, with a strong focus on environment design for games.
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing environment concept art with strong composition, lighting, color and perspective.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; 3D sketching tools are a plus.
• Strong understanding of architectural, industrial, and natural forms.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for game environments including landscapes, architecture, props, and mood pieces.
• Develop visual styles and themes that define the aesthetic of the game world.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Game Designers, and 3D artists to iterate on environment designs and ensure artistic vision is realized.
• Provide clear and detailed visual documentation to guide the 3D environment art team.
• Present concepts to the team and stakeholders, articulating the artistic intent and vision.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in environment design and concept art.
