• Familiarity with mine closure and long-term stewardship considerations.
• Budget oversight and management for environmental programs.
• Professional designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of environmental, regulatory, and permitting strategies.
• Oversee environmental management programs to ensure compliance with permits and company standards.
• Manage regulatory reporting, inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
• Engage with regulators and coordinate approvals and reporting.
• Identify risks and opportunities; develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership on monitoring, water management, reclamation, and waste management.
