  • Communicate policies and best practices to staff at all levels.
  • Implement waste minimization and proper disposal procedures.

The position requires a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities and managing various environmental projects and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day environmental compliance activities at assigned facilities.
  • Support operations to ensure consistent application of environmental procedures and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for environmental improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare routine environmental reports, including NSPS and MACT documentation.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained in an inspection-ready state for agency audits.
  • Respond to environmental emergencies, spills, and manage short-term remediation projects.
  • Manage environmental contractors and coordinate environmental initiatives.
  • Communicate internal policies and best practices to personnel at all levels.
  • Implement waste minimization strategies and manage waste disposal processes.
  • Provide input on environmental procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (preferred).
  • 10 or more years of experience in the oil and gas industry complying with environmental regulations.
  • Experience with air (Title V) permits, stormwater, and wastewater management (preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills suitable for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and work independently.
  • Physically capable of walking across terrain to response sites.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and ability to determine regulation applicability.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10%.
Publishing Pay Range: $130,000.00 – $132,000.00 annually.

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
