Howard Energy Partners is seeking an Environmental Coordinator in Texas to manage day-to-day EHS compliance programs with a focus on air compliance. The role involves audits, training, evaluating projects, maintaining permits, and coordinating with regulatory agencies.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in environmental/compliance, preferably in oil and gas. Travel to field locations will be required to provide support, and the company offers equal opportunity employment.
Job Summary: The Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance programs with a main focus on air compliance. The Environmental Coordinator will assist with conducting audits, providing training on environmental-related topics, evaluating project and maintenance activities, maintaining operating permits and compliance plans, interacting with regulatory agencies and participating in emergency preparedness.
This position may require occasional travel to remote sites, potential exposure to flammable material, adherence to safety protocols, compliance with operating regulations, and will require rigorous physical demands.
